Memory Outreach Project
Between Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13th, 2018 and Father’s Day, June 17th, 2018, Lutheran Church of The Master will share in a “Memory Outreach Project”to help us refurbish our front signboard. We invite your participation.
The LCM Church Council has long seen the need for our front signboard along Santa Monica Boulevard to be renovated and improved. New lettering and fresh, bright backboards will enable the Signboard to be better seen by those who walk or drive by our beautiful church. This signboard is used to communicate to our neighbors that we worship each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. We have also delighted in including a word of welcome on the signboard in languages commonly spoken in our neighborhood: Persian, Arabic, and Spanish, in addition to English. Our hope is to make these WELCOME words more visible.
Our desire is to make the LCM ministry more visible and inviting to our neighbors. Our goal is to raise at least $1500, above and beyond our normal giving, to assist us in making these needed visual changes as part of our outreach ministry. Thank you for considering how you might help us meet this goal.
Here’s what you do. Any time between Mother’s Day (May 13th) and Father’s Day (June 17th), we invite you to make a special gift to help us with the “Memory Outreach Project: Signboard.” Please write “Memory Outreach Project – Signboard”on your check or envelop.
Thank you ahead of time for your generosity in this and all things!
