Art Glass Windows
The art glass windows in the Nave and Transept represents Biblical themes and specific theological purpose. The large window in the north transept is the Creation Window and the large window in the south transept is the Resurrection Window. The smaller windows in the Nave trace New Testament and Old Testament themes from the Garden of Eden to Jesus the Good Shepherd.
The windows are constructed from hand blown French, English, German and American glass. Each piece was hand cut and fitted into lead, then cemented into place. The windows were designed and installed in September 28, 1980 by Mark Gulsrud, whose work is also found at California Lutheran University and in other churches in California and the Northwest.
